Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion

The Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion surgery removes a herniated or diseased disc and relieves neck and radiating arm pain caused by parts of the disc pressing on nerve roots.

Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion

Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) is a type of neck surgery that involves removing a damaged disc. ACDF is a surgery to treat damaged or degenerated discs in the neck. In this procedure the surgeon removes the damaged disc, relieves pressure on pinched nerves, and fills the empty disc space with a bone to relieve spinal cord or nerve root pressure and alleviate corresponding pain, weakness, numbness, and tingling.

ACDFs are typically only recommended after non-surgical strategies have failed to improve symptoms. We offer various spinal procedures that can potentially help your condition right away.  Please give us a call and let us schedule you an appointment with one of our specialists today.
