Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion

Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) is a type of neck surgery that involves removing a damaged disc. ACDF is a surgery to treat damaged or degenerated discs in the neck. In this procedure the surgeon removes the damaged disc, relieves pressure on pinched nerves, and fills the empty disc space with a bone to relieve spinal cord or nerve root pressure and alleviate corresponding pain, weakness, numbness, and tingling.
