Elizabeth Baj, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in pain management and orthopedics at New York Spine Specialist and New York & New Jersey Spine and Orthopedics. She provides in-office care as well as assists with minimally invasive procedures in the office and at our surgery centers.
Elizabeth received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Physician Assistant Science at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. She completed comprehensive clinical training across a variety of specialties throughout the United States of America, and is excited about the opportunity to provide orthopedic care in her home state of New York. She is passionate about patient-centered care with an evidence-based medicine approach, helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.
As part of our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as our Interventional Pain Management division, she specializes in injection therapy, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to treat various musculoskeletal conditions with a holistic approach as well using pharmacologic agents to improve patients overall pain and function. Since joining the group, she has been an integral role for our team. Elizabeth is well-versed and trained to perform medical evaluations, physical examinations, perform various injections (trigger point injections, joint injections) and review diagnostic testing reports.
Outside of medicine, Elizabeth enjoys discovering new coffee shops, reading, and spending time outdoors. She brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm that she has for life into the office, and is committed to helping her patients achieve their best possible quality of life.
