Jay Shah, D.O, M.B.A

Dr. Shah is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. After graduating from Union College,  in Schenectady, NY Dr. Shah earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ .

His practice at New York Spine Specialist encompasses a wide range of spinal conditions, including traumatic injuries and degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. His training allows him to cater treatment options specifically to the patient and their condition. His treatment philosophy is simple: “Surgery should be the last resort. I would not recommend any treatment to a patient that I would not accept for myself, my friends, or my family.”

In his spare time, he enjoys Tennis, Bodybuilding, and is an avid traveller.
