• Make blood culture bags and restock isolation carts with necessary supplies, such as isolation gowns and nitrile gloves
• Clean rooms when patients are discharged and prepare rooms for new arrivals
• Assist patients out of or onto beds and provide physical support when standing up and ambulating
• Transport patients to other units or out of the hospital in wheelchairs
• Stay by the patient’s bedside and respond accordingly to their physical and emotional needs
